SRT Race Night 2025

Book online here!

We’re off to the races in support of Stockton-on-Tees Round Table

ABOUT THE RACES:

Doors will open at 7pm, with races beginning from 7:30 pm onwards on Friday 24th October in the Hub at Teesside University Students Union The evening will consist of 8 races.

When guests buy tickets to the Race Night, they can also give themselves the quintessential race experience, including owning and naming a horse! This is available via the link at the top of the page

On the night of the event, guests will receive a race booklet upon arrival listing all the race information. They can then place bets on the horses and receive tote tickets.

The races are chosen at random so nobody knows beforehand which horse will win. The excitement is exactly the same as a real race so expect lots of shouting and cheering as the horses reach the finish line! You know it: the winning owners and bettors are usually a fair bit louder than the others in the room!

Heard enough? Book your ticket and bring your friends along for the fun, too! Make a difference and have fun while doing it!

Stockton Roundtable is a branch of the Round Table Great Britain & Ireland. Round Tables meet all over Great Britain and Ireland, usually once a fortnight, for either a social, a fun activity or to make a difference in the community. Table nights can vary with activities such as white water rafting, hiking, zorbing, crazy golf, learning how to make the perfect sushi or taking a tour of the local brewery.  Alternatively, you might find yourself running a charity event or helping a local community centre redecorate.

No, Stockton-on-Tees Round Table is not currently registered as a charity, it is a CIC.

What is a race night again?

An event where all of the horse races are virtual — there are no real horses and racecourses indoors, but you will still get the thrill of being at the races!
